Runs at 8 to 12 mph instead of the 4 to 5 mph of a conventional disc, so you cover the ground inside a shorter weather window.

Straight answers
What is high-speed tillage and how is it different from a conventional disc?

A high-speed disc like the Hyperdisc runs at 8 to 12 mph, compared with 4 to 5 mph for a conventional disc. Two rows of individually mounted discs, set at 14 degrees front and 17 degrees rear, turn and shred residue, break clods and level ruts in one pass, leaving a seedbed behind it.
How fast does it actually run?

The working range is 8 to 12 mph. Our acres per hour figures are quoted at 12 mph, from 12 acres per hour on the C10 to 58 acres per hour on the T42. Real output depends on field shape, conditions and how fast you can safely run.
What size tractor do I need?

It depends on the model. The C series needs 120 to 280 HP on a three-point hitch. The H and H+ series need 280 to 400 HP. The T series needs 390 to 710 HP. Each model's range is in the tables above. Pick within the range for your soil: heavier ground and the top of the speed range need more power.
What is the difference between the H and H+ series?

They share the same widths, disc count and horsepower requirements. The H+ adds enhanced adjustability and three sections of overlapping rollers for better leveling and finishing, and it can take the Ottico LSTX rubber furrow roller or spring packer roller options. The H+ costs more at MSRP.
What depth can it work?

With 20 inch discs, 2 to 6 inches. With 22 inch discs, 2 to 8 inches. Depth stops adjust in half inch increments without tools.
Smooth or notched blades?
+
Both are boron steel with a transitional hardness profile. Notched blades bite and cut heavy residue more aggressively. Smooth blades suit lighter residue and leave a cleaner finish. If you are unsure, tell us your crop and residue and we will talk it through.
20 inch or 22 inch discs?

20 inch discs are standard and work 2 to 6 inches deep. The 22 inch upgrade extends working depth to 8 inches and gives more blade life to wear through. The upgrade is priced per model, from $695 MSRP on the C10 to $2,550 MSRP on the T42.
